This knife was hand-made by Harry K. McEvoy, founder of the Tru-Balance Knife Company. I bought it from him in the early 1980’s.
I took his standard leather sheath apart and rebuilt it to form-fit the Bowie-Axe. I added custom fringe and a nice basket-weave design.

WHERE CAN I FIND ONE OF THOSE??????????????
I OWN ONE. iF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN AQUIRING IT PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH ME AND MAKE ME AN OFFER.
I OWN ONE OF THESE BOWEI AXE AND IS WONERING HOW OLD IT IS? I found it in the woods while hunting deer about 30 years ago. It had been there for so long already that the handle had all rotted away. I have since built a new handle for it. If you want too aquire it just make me a fair offer and it is yours.
I have to make a profit so if I buy a knife I would be offering a low price so that I can sell it and make a little money.
Typically I’d offer about $75-$100 depending on how rare or old the knife is and what shape it is in.
Well, it is at least 30 years old! Harry started making Bowie-Axes in 1959. If it was rotting and rusting away in the woods for 30 years it would take a lot of work to bring it back if that is even possible at this point. I’d need to see it.
