		<description>Hey Gary!

The markings on the blade such as the number of stars can be meaningful, but not easily decipherable. So far I have not been taught how to read them. But Stephen McEvoy does know how to decipher the meanings of the number of stars, etc. He offers a service where you can send in your knife to him and for $25 plus return shipping he will examine it and provide a certificate of authenticity with specific information about your knife if you are interested.

		<description>Sir,
I have recently purchased a model #3 tru bal knife. By picture comparison to yours, it looks very similar. the onle exceptions i can see are that the 3 stars are missing on mine. Why would that be? Different manufacture dates? Different people making this knife? could it be a reproduction? Any info would help, and yes i love throwing knives, tomahawks even butter knives! L.O.L.
                                        thank you
                                                     Gary
